DSE Takes 3 Out of the Top 10 Spots at Run to the Alamo 2012 The first American Street Car Series event took place this past weekend in Texas with the 1st Annual “Run to the Alamo.” Ryan and Matt of Detroit Speed drove the Mustang Test Car 1200 miles from the shop to eventually be greeted Friday morning by unusually cold and wet weather. |

Kyle Tucker to Drive in Score Baja 1000 November 16th -20th Kyle Tucker is getting ready to head back to Baja Mexico with Team BFG and with only one goal in mind, that is winning the Score Baja 1000. Kyle Tucker and his Team BFG members came so close last year with a second place finish and want to capture the crown this year. |

The Inaugural Get Started Racing Driving School a Huge Success What a great weekend for Jet-Hot, Detroit Speed, and the inaugural Get Started Racing driving school that took place October 14th-16th at Virginia International Raceway. The weather was fantastic and everybody was excited about the chance to improve their driving skills on the skid pad and autocross. |

Danny Popp Wins the 2011 OUSCI Danny Popp came out victorious over Mark Stielow in a tightly contested Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational held November 5th in Pahrump, NV at the Spring Mountain Raceway. After a virtual tie in points after all the events, organizers had to go to their tie-breaker rule which was the fastest road course lap. Danny Popp had a slight advantage so he and his Corvette owned by Todd Rumpke were crowned champion. |

Cold Weather Can't Stop the DSE Open House Daytime temps in the low 40's and a steady drizzle all day could not stop the 2011 Open House from being a tremendous success. Even as the rain grew heavier and the temperatures dipped lower, family, fans and customers came out by the hundreds to Detroit Speed for the annual Open House that takes place on the Friday night of Goodguys Charlotte. |
